Rainbow Agro announces an expansion to the company’s global manufacturing footprint with operations near Houston, Texas. This facility joins the Rainbow worldwide network of facilities in Spain, Argentina, and China.

The Houston facility provided formulation and automated packaging capability for herbicide products and was newly built in 2022 by Apex Ag Chem. Led by a very talented team, this modern and highly efficient operation has proven to safely deliver impressive levels of quality and reliability since its introduction.

Planning for growth, Rainbow Agro will commence an expansion of the facility this Spring, which will increase and double the size of the operation area and include additional automation for production efficiency.

Recently, Rainbow Agro has entered a peak order season. Under the background of many orders and urgent delivery, the Rainbow`s Glyphosate Granules` continuous and automated production line has been put into production in the right moment. This production line`s daily capacity can reach 260 tons, making it to be the world`s largest daily production line for Glyphosate Granules.

The commissioning of this production line is also one of the Rainbow`s measures to implement the critical task of the strategic plan (Continuously optimize and efficiently run the delivery system to ensure the fast and timely delivery of ordered products with high quality). In view of the frequent, rapid, and large market fluctuations in the Generic Agchem industry, Rainbow decided to greatly increase the maximum daily production capacity for those commodity formulations and shortest the order processing time. Thoroughly understand the information of the whole industrial chain from factory to farm, make accurate decisions, quickly respond to various market fluctuations and obtain business opportunities through the maximum daily production capacity and the shortest order processing time.

Recently, Rainbow announced the acquisition of 100% stake in Spanish Agrochemical Company Exclusivas Sarabia S.A. in cash. After this transaction, Sarabia will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rainbow group.

Exclusivas Sarabia, S.A. was founded in 1985, develops, manufactures and distributes crop protection products. The company’s headquarters and warehouse are in Fraga Huesca, Spain, whereas the manufacturing facilities are located in Alpicat Lérida. Sarabia has a good brand reputation and marketing network in Spain and the surrounding counties.

The EU market is one of Rainbow`s major markets in strategic plan. Since 2016, Rainbow has been investing in pesticide technical equivalences in EU, it has now obtained the equivalent identification of about 80 active substance, and more active substance.s are in progress. Now Rainbow`s One Stop Technical Material Supply Platform for the EU market has been built and continuously enriched and improved.

In this transaction, Rainbow hired Deloitte Management Consulting Company as financial advisers, and hired Jingtian Gongcheng Law Firm and ECIJA Law Firm as legal advisers.
